Dallas Drain Cleaning: Same-Day Service for Clogged Drains Across DFW
Got a drain that stopped working? We clear it the same day - flat-rate pricing, no hourly fees, no upsells.
A clogged drain usually announces itself at the worst possible time. The kitchen sink backs up the night before company comes. The shower drain gives out the morning of. Whatever the timing, Drain Doctor has been clearing drains across Dallas-Fort Worth since 1973 — and we can get to you the same day.
We are a drain cleaning specialist. Not a general plumber, not a franchise, not a call center that dispatches whoever is available. Our technicians clean drains for a living, which means they have seen your clog before and they know how to clear it without turning a $179 job into a $1,200 repair estimate.
Flat-rate pricing from $179. No diagnostic fees. No hourly rates. You know the cost before we touch anything.

What Drain Doctor Cleans
We clean drain lines — residential and commercial, simple clogs and stubborn blockages. Here is what that covers:
Residential Drain Cleaning
Most calls come from homeowners dealing with one of these:
- Kitchen sink drains — grease buildup, food waste, soap scum
- Bathroom drains — sinks, tubs, showers
- Toilet lines — blockages at the fixture or in the branch line
- Main sewer line — the line from your house to the city connection
- Laundry and washing machine drains
- A/C condensate drain lines
- Yard and landscape drains — French drains, area drains, trench drains
Cable snaking clears most standard clogs. For heavier buildup or repeat blockages, hydrojetting is the stronger option — high-pressure water that scrubs the pipe wall clean rather than just punching a hole through the clog. We will tell you which one your drain actually needs.
Commercial Drain Cleaning
Drain Doctor serves restaurants, office buildings, retail spaces, multi-tenant properties, and property management companies throughout DFW. A blocked drain in a commercial property moves faster and costs more to ignore than a residential one. We work Monday through Saturday and can accommodate early-morning appointments for businesses that need to be cleared before they open.
Hydrojetting
Standard cable snaking handles most clogs. But grease buildup, heavy root intrusion, or years of accumulated debris sometimes need something more — high-pressure water jetting that scours the pipe clean from the inside out. We offer hydrojetting for both residential and commercial drain lines starting at $349.
Got a Clogged Drain? Here's What Usually Causes It
Most of the drains we clear fall into one of five categories. Knowing which one you are dealing with tells you a lot about what clearing it will take.
Kitchen Drain Clogs
Grease is the main culprit. It goes down liquid and hardens inside the pipe, coating the walls until the line narrows enough to back up. Coffee grounds, food scraps, and soap scum layer on top of it. Kitchen drain clogs rarely clear completely with a plunger — the blockage is usually 20 to 40 feet into the line.
Bathroom Drain Clogs
Hair and soap buildup in tubs and showers. Toothpaste and soap scum in bathroom sinks. These clogs sit close to the fixture, which is why a drain snake — or even a drain cleaning tool from the hardware store — sometimes works. When it does not, the clog is deeper in the branch line.
Toilet Clogs
Some toilet clogs clear with a plunger. When the blockage is in the branch line connected to the toilet rather than the toilet itself, it will not. Multiple toilets backing up at once points to the main sewer line, not the individual fixtures.
Main Sewer Line Blockages
The main line runs from your house to the city sewer connection under the street. Tree root intrusion is the most common cause in DFW — the clay-heavy soil here causes pipes to shift and crack over time, and roots follow the moisture in. When the main line backs up, multiple fixtures in the house stop draining at the same time. This is the drain problem that needs a professional.
Slow Drains
A slow drain is a clog in progress. The buildup is there — it just has not closed off the line completely yet. Clearing it now costs less and takes less time than waiting until nothing moves at all.

Drain Doctor does not charge by the hour. Every job is quoted at a flat rate before the technician begins — no diagnostic fees, no surprise line items once we are inside your home or business.

Why Dallas Homeowners and Businesses Call Drain Doctor
There are a lot of plumbing companies in DFW. Here is what makes Drain Doctor different — and why it matters for the kind of job you are calling about.
We Only Clean Drains
Drain Doctor does one thing: drain cleaning. No pipe repair, no water heater service, no general plumbing. That focus means our technicians show up with the right equipment, diagnose the problem faster, and clear the line without upselling you into services you do not need. When drain cleaning is the only thing you do, you get good at it.
50+ Years in DFW
Charlie and Mary Sarao started Drain Doctor in 1973. Their daughters Caroline and Valerie run it today. Over 100,000 drains cleared in the Dallas-Fort Worth area over that time. The company has no investors to satisfy and no franchise model to follow — just a family business that has been doing this work longer than most of its competitors have been in business.
Flat Rate Means No Surprises
A lot of drain companies charge by the hour, which means you do not know what you are paying until the job is done. Drain Doctor quotes a flat rate before starting. If the job turns out to be harder than expected, that is our problem, not yours.
Same-Day Service, Monday Through Saturday
Call before 6pm Monday through Saturday and we will get a technician to you the same day. We are not a 24/7 operation — we will tell you that straight. But when we say same-day, we mean it.

Yes. Drain Doctor holds Texas Master Plumbers License M-38297. We are a licensed, family-owned company — not a franchise. We have been serving Dallas-Fort Worth since 1973.
We clean kitchen drains, bathroom drains, toilet lines, main sewer lines, laundry drains, A/C condensate lines, and yard and landscape drains. Both residential and commercial properties. Drain cleaning is all we do — we do not perform plumbing repairs or pipe replacement.
Snaking uses a motorized cable to break up or pull out a clog. It handles most residential drain blockages. Hydrojetting uses high-pressure water to scour the pipe wall clean — grease buildup, heavy root intrusion, and repeat blockages that cable cleaning keeps coming back for are better suited to hydrojetting. Our technician will recommend the right method for your drain.
No. Drain Doctor is a drain cleaning specialist. If we find a structural issue — a cracked pipe, a root intrusion point, or a collapsed line — we will let you know and recommend contacting a licensed plumber for the repair. We do not perform repair work ourselves.
